The Sonics and Giana Sisters could be on my list too. And Bubble Bobble and Wing Commander. I preferred Tie Figher over X-Wing though.
X-Wing vs Strike Commander was a tough call for me. More games that didn't make the cut: Syndicate, Command & Conquer, Wing Commander Privateer, Monkey Island 1&2, and a ton of shareware games that I don't remember the titles of.
