Has any of you used the Jitsi Meet API before? Can I mute/control the volume of individual people in a room _on the receiver side_? Can I manually scale and place the video feed of different people?
Looking at the API docs I think I might be expecting too much.

as participant, yes, your client can adjust volume / mute individual streams. That's a client thing, not a server API thing. Same as display size. AFAIK, server doesn't do any video transcoding (which leads me to the bold statement that this P2P video thing is a bad idea on

Nope, per-participant volume controls are not exposed in the API. It would make sense to have them though, care to open an issue about it?
