The public BMSGP covid-19 dataset is a farce. I can only conclude that the competent people at BMSGP have more important things to do so they tasked the most incompetent morons there with this task to get them out of the way of the important stuff.. 1/2
My biggest issue with the data set is that they don't include trend data for most values. So if I wanted to plot infections in Vienna over time I would have needed to download their data set every day and created my own private archive.

so, a trend analysis is exactly that: an analysis. The parameters determining how to calculate the trend (look only at previous data point? Regression over many? if latter, how to weight) imply a methodology of interpreting the data. You are asking for the data. You get the data.
No, I don't get the data. That's my point. I do my own analysis. But they only publish the current numbers. A single number for each district. If I want yesterdays number for that district I should have downloaded their data set yesterday and archived it myself.
