Folks with a relatively clear and short path to transition will always mystify me.

'98 .. Afaict there's no path to transition for someone like me '10 .. Now it's too late, hair is all gone, everyone knows me this way, etc.
Dec '19 .. Probably should transition anyway
Jan '20 .. I'm full time
Mar '20 .. I'm on HRT
So.. is that 4 months or 22 years?2 replies 0 retweets 0 likes -

It's tough to pinpoint. I haven't come out/socially transitioned yet. HRT didn't do a thing for my inner sense of self, so I can't count the start date as significant. I'm starting to think my "finish line" is the day I feel real. 1 day as 'definitely Xan' would be so good.

Tbh I can't imagine I'll ever arrive at "definitely Claire" for a full day without intact hair. (So... probably never.) But I literally can't live another day as that suicidal dude so waiting until I'm definitely Claire simply is not an option for me.
