How weird were they about the letter?
"good you have that signed letter from the consulate, otherwise we wouldn't let you in" As if I just happen to have that letter through a lucky accident. :D Took all my strength to suppress a snappy reply. And they were nice and avoided gendering me. So it went pretty well l.

What do they expect? You wouldn't even be allowed to get there without it...

I don't know. It was a pretty weird statement imo. I guess they just felt the need to say something to let me know that this is not the usual type of travel documents, as if I wouldn't be aware already.
