Where is the limitation? Is it just the editor? Does the game become laggy? Does it despawn things? I did find you can't make a "one-way latch" with a laser relay connected to a laser pointing at itself. Using droppers for that now.

I think it's just a hardcoded limit in the editor for the number of components. Presumably to make sure there's never problems with performance bc of to many active components.
