when I was in elementary school I hated when they gave us rhymes as mnemonics for things when the critical information wasn't even in the rhyming words, so you could shuffle the information around and not notice

Also, imo it's a thousand times easier to just remember the physics than to decipher this cryptic thing. In fact, every time I tell someone this horrible sentence I have to double check that I got it right by going through the basic physics in my head..

How about: 'In Induktivitäten die Ströme sich verspäten.'?

It's not sexist so it's much better. But you can just swap Ströme with Spannungen and it still rhymes.. And if one doesn't understand the physics then this mnemonic won't make them an EE, and if one understands the physics then this is so obvious that no mnemonic is necessary.
