@oe1cxw I'm gonna be citing Yosys in a SIGBOVIK paper, would you like if I updated the author name in the citation?

Are you citing yosys itself or the original yosys paper? My preference in the latter case would be "C. Wolf", if the citation style allows that.. otherwise I think deadname is okay. Not sure if it's proper to cite with a name different from the one used in the cited publication.
For Yosys itself Claire Wolf is preferred. (I still need to update copyright and websites and stuff. But ultimately I will change it all to the new name.)
