This day is just getting better. Try getting through airport security as a bald trans women wearing a headscarf.. Apparently asking someone to take off a wig wouldn't be okay but asking someone to take of a headscarf is.
Also: My 80 ml estrogen gel bottle apparently is a thread to airport security because it doesn't have "80 ml" (or any other volume) printed on it. I was very afraid they would ask me to choose between my hormones and going on this business trip.

at my crotch, and then being treated to a patdown of that area specifically... Luckily most airports around here still have a metal detector queue.
