      I paid 20 Euro extra to get something delivered today because I am leaving the country for two weeks tomorrow. I've been home the whole day until now. I just received an email that they could not deliver it bc nobody was home and that I can pick it up somewhere 1/3

      starting tomorrow and that I have 9 days to pick it up. At this point parcel delivery is just a big scam. Literally. What they are doing should be illegal. This is a systematic issue and they are profiting from it instead of fixing it. People should go to prison for 2/3

      running a business like that. But they aren't because it's big corporations and "everyone is doing it". This is happening to me all the time, but in this specific case it was GLS who stole my time and money for their petty profit. 3/3

      GLS did this to us repeatedly. I avoid them whenever possible. They don't pay their employees properly, put impossible expectations on them, and pocket the profits.

      GLS is shit. DHL Express, FedEx, G4S and UPS work good. (and pay their drivers livable wages (here in AT))

      When I was living in the 5th district DHL not once delivered a package. And I always had to pick it up from their warehouse in Leopoldsdorf. With public transportation that is a whole f-ing day wasted on this nightmare. DHL is the worst.

          DHL ≠ DHL Express. The latter is usually quite good and seems to pay their drivers better.
