Vicky the Viking is a girl (with a cute girlfriend) and I am so happy nobody "corrected" me on that interpretation when I was a kid.

Also, Knuckles the Echidna (from Sonic) is a butch girl. (Because red is for girls or something. I actually knew as kid that this wasn't canon, but I did not care.)
