I know how you feel. I've been I'm mid to high femme and been called "sir" and it's very demoralizing.
I feel like replying, "do I look like I do all this to be called 'sir'?!"
I needed a piece of paper for my HRT from a GP the other week and I showed up there in makeup and heels and red fingernails etc ... "Mister". I explained that I need a peace of paper for my HRT because I am TRANSGENDER ... "Mister". Now I have another GP who genders me correctly.
