Since anything I ever saw mention you was English or German, I'm gonna assume that you don't actually speak German.
The Android Twitter App stopped offering me the "translate tweet" option and now half of my mentions are indecipherable gibberish.

I am an Austrian. Germans may very well agree with that assessment. ;) It's mostly quote tweets that are in other languages. French and Spanish mostly. (But OP was an exaggeration of course. It's just a small fraction.)
