Me : 6502 -> 68K -> x86. Horrible progression at the end there. Now I just write Python and it's like eating ice cream for breakfast.
I did some experiments with 6502 machine code on my c64. But nothing "serious". Would have loved to have a c128 with the built-in machine code monitor.

Well that and insisting that Apple ship schematics with every machine. What an incredible inspiration for a little kid to understand digital logic design.

BBC Micro with BBC Basic which had built in 6502 assembler support, followed by Acorn Archimedes with BBC Basic which had built in ARM assembler support! (Aged 10-18). Worked pre-uni on 8080, Z80 and 680x assembler stuff.
