Lol, we (neighbor and I) started x86 assembly when we were 14 or so, … ;-) when did you?
x86.. idk. I wrote kugelfu when I was 15 and it contains asm code for the graphics stuff. So before that. My first asm code was for 68k (Amiga 500). That must've been around 11yo maybe. But 68k is much easier than x86. :)

Me : 6502 -> 68K -> x86. Horrible progression at the end there. Now I just write Python and it's like eating ice cream for breakfast.

I did some experiments with 6502 machine code on my c64. But nothing "serious". Would have loved to have a c128 with the built-in machine code monitor.

I should have tried 68k, we never had one, always marveled about the graphic and sound capabilities while playing games with the neighbours and their a500 ;-)
