It's 30 minutes after midnight here and my flat is still under attack. They have a whole arsenal down there and it's as if they are aiming for my windows.. I guess cleaning windows on Jan 1st is becoming a tradition now.. :D

I was in the Netherlands for NYE 2000. It was like full-on warfare. Bonfires in the streets, horizontal rockets, deafening. So far here in this tiny village we've had five rockets, but still 13 minutes to go. I have FIVE nervous dogs here. Nightmare. Also: *LOVE* the new name
