Wasn’t that the original meaning before twitch etc?
When did "to stream" change it's meaning to include watching a video online (i.e. a person _receiving_ a stream is also "streaming" now)?

Huh. I'm not sure. I've always known it as a receiving / end consumer definition, except for when I'm streaming data from a board, and though it's the same word, my brain treats it as a different word, due to context I guess! Weird. Never noticed that before.
