Is optparse still what people use to parse cmdline arguments in Python3 or has it been consensus replaced with something else

I use argparse, it's pretty nice
My personal preference is actually getopt, but well meaning people keep filing PRs to replace it with something else, and it's easier to merge those PRs than to argue for an objectively bad personal preference, so I end up using whatever they prefer.

to be honest, other answers in this thread made me realize argparse might actually be not as good as i thought

Someone recommended click, it's actually quite nice, probably good enough for any of my purposes except the ones I'd write a hand parser for anyway
