If you are running a chess tournament, and there's a player who insists to play by their own "alternative rules", you disqualify them and keep the tournament running. Same here. Exclude the alternative facts crowd, keep the conversation going with everyone else.

I have to say I like various blog writers approach - put the things those people say in direct contrast with facts, sentence after sentence. It's often educational. It's rarely seen, but better yet when someone does it live in a public debate :))
