I like the reference to the math prize that embarrassed itself for not being attributable to Andrew Wiles because of a stupid arbitrary age limit rule.
I can't help myself but have to add: The age limit for the fields medal is 40, not 30! It's almost never awarded to anyone in their twenties. Also: The age limit for it is even more stupid when you consider they give it to 2-4 people every 4 years, not one person every year.
