I really love it how hotel showers have a dynamic range that includes superheated and supercooled water. The fact that you now need a micromanipulator to dial in a temperature compatible with human life is so totally worth it.

Hey, I said I love it and the occasional 3rd degree burn is really just a small price to pay. :D I even once cooked ramen noodles using the hot tap water in a hotel room. (True story)

If you ever saw the inside of a water heater you might reconsider in future. I’ve seen some truly nasty ones and I keep my mouth shut when showing now.
