Yep. It's 2019, mankind manufactures electronics at nanometer feature size but having a pleasant shower experience in an overpriced hotel room is globally deemed out of scope.
I really love it how hotel showers have a dynamic range that includes superheated and supercooled water. The fact that you now need a micromanipulator to dial in a temperature compatible with human life is so totally worth it.

Hey, I said I love it and the occasional 3rd degree burn is really just a small price to pay. :D I even once cooked ramen noodles using the hot tap water in a hotel room. (True story)
