If you ever dare to set it to 1 and use the 8x8 multiplier, then the upper bits will get mad at you and never accept values ever again (until you reset)?
It means that even if you try to not select this mode will be selected. Its the ultimate power saving option???
Maybe it relates to a "power saving" feature that it will stay off (0) as long as no one needs it and it will turn on (1) if so and only then it will consume energy?!?!
