Followers: Are you multilingual, maybe even occasionally mixing two or more languages in the same sentence, or do you stick to your first language most of the time? (I'm just curious. Also: Feel free to reply with your list of ISO 639-1 codes. Mines is pretty boring: EN and DE.)

I did try to teach myself ASL with internet videos many years ago. I've forgotten pretty much everything by now. But I do remember thinking (trivial) thoughts in ASL. As in just thinking the signs while contemplating something. That was a very interesting experience for me.

Interesting. Of course when learning a language, especially those with very different grammar (e.g. Japanese), it's best to just "forget" your prior language and think in a different way. Not easy at all!
