each of those circuit diagrams shows several stages. am i right to think that they can be turned on and off one by one with a byte of flag bits?
They are controlled by the (lsb) bits of the second argument (the immediate for grevi, etc). See rotate shift for reference. Grev and shuffle work similar, they just use a different permutation circuit.
