Ho. No kidding. That's pretty serious, and probably ok when you know everything about Verilog... but auto-complete, and instant syntax validation is quite helpful to an FPGA newbie like me. I guess I've grown more productive (lazy?) using Visual Studio all these years.
Just to be clear: I'm not saying I'd recommend that setup for anyone else. :) It's just what works well for me.

Yeah. Same here. It would be nice with autocompletion and fancy stuff for verilog, but I don't have the patience to learn a new editor. The emacs VHDL mode is pretty nifty though
