No. That's what I meant by _plain_ vim. :) But I use the following hack^Wscript to populate module ports in instantiations. http://svn.clifford.at/tools/trunk/vlfilt.py ….

Ho. No kidding. That's pretty serious, and probably ok when you know everything about Verilog... but auto-complete, and instant syntax validation is quite helpful to an FPGA newbie like me. I guess I've grown more productive (lazy?) using Visual Studio all these years.

Just to be clear: I'm not saying I'd recommend that setup for anyone else. :) It's just what works well for me.
