I have so many questions... Aren't those blades in the wrong orientation for it to work? What power source did they put in the frame if they built it years ago? My main questions would be regarding keeping the the RF receiver running for years. (They write in the video that it was built years eariler. So it can't be a "spring / clockwork thing" that triggered it just at the right time.)

I'm not saying any of that is particularly hard to solve. My question it's *not* about how they could have done it. I know plenty of ways how they could have done it. (I did help build ASICs for long-running RF sensors.)

I hope someone takes it apart and puts detailed documentation online. But it being a piece of art this is probably never going to happen.
