Possibly to create two eyes / prevent W from preventing two eyes?
Huh? That was unexpected! Can someone explain this move to me? The only purpose I can see is to remove ko threads, but I don't see a ko worth wasting that move. B4 would have been so much better imo. (This is me (7k) losing as W against a 4d player.) #Go #Badukpic.twitter.com/S50lk9QjDc

How would W ever create two eyes there? As long as B reacts? (That why I said: remove ko threads.) I also asked the other player and they were kind enough to write back: Just a safe play because they were ahead anyway. How disappointing. No dan-level magic happening here. :)
