The Ethics of Beleif by W. K. Clifford had an immense impact on me and how I see the world. Not because any of the ideas in it were new to me, but because to this day I can not understand how anyone could think anything in it is controversial. None of it should be. #TruthIsTruth

For starters, God is not a person. God is an abstract concept created by people. God never made any statements. People make statements and attribute them to God.
