As of this week I'm now officially the vice-chair of the RISC-V Bitmanipulation Task Group within the RISC-V Foundation.

It's publicity for
@symbiotic_eda in circles that we want as customers for our formal verification tools, including riscv-formal. Hacker fame is nice, but it doesn't pay the bills.
Also: I really enjoy working on bit manipulation code and ISAs. This position gives me a great opportunity to do that.

I hope that I'm mistaken with my current statement, but the way I currently understand, when it comes to sales 2 megacorporations, INNOVATION AND CRATIVE THINKING IS FORBIDDEN & almost any empty-talk-HO-HO will do more sales than a proper technically competent person.

The best form of funding flow from megacorporations 2 technically competent and hard-working people is some sort of a "Linux/Apache Foundation", where the mega-corporate hierarchy is KEPT FAR AWAY from the technically competent and hardworking people.
