For example the policy of separating kids, even toddlers, from their parents at the US border: This will undermine UN human rights work for decades to come. Everyone will just point to the US and say "If they can do it so can we!"
Not only is the practice barbaric, it is also unlawful, sending a clear signal that the law does not apply equally to everyone anymore in western societies. Or look at the systematic dismantling of the US state department, or the EPA. Those have geopolitical consequences!

But of course the most prominent victim of the Trump Presidency is Truth itself. And this is the thing I'm criticizing in my tweet. No matter how obvious his lies are, some still believe him and even defend him. Even some otherwise very intelligent people.
