I don't have hot water in my flat for at least the next 14 days. (They shut off the gas because of a leak.) Just had a proper cold shower. Holy sh*t that's hardcore!! 
I think I'll just use a sponge and a bucket of electrically heated water tomorrow. #NambyPamby #Warmduscher

In Russia hot water is off for ~2 weeks every year, for maintenance. During winter everyone depend on central heating system, thus is should work flawlessly. I used to heat a pan of hot water. But eventually I used to take cold showers and now even enjoy it. (1/2)

In Russia the hot water is off for maintenance for anything from ten days to a month every summer. Fortunately my apartment had a small electric instant water heater for use just in that time.
