A few people showed up on the
#yosys irc channel asking how they could send money, is there a way to fund yosys?
If you are working at a company that does HDL design (Verilog, SystemVerilog, VHDL), ask them to license our "Symbiotic EDA Suite" from @symbiotic_eda for formal verification. We are currently in closed beta and will launch it as a product early next year. This will fund Yosys.

Any further information? Every successful foss project needs a sustainable business model, just curious what the license will entail.

It's 99.9% the same Yosys, just bundled with things like Verific to add support for SystemVerilog, VHDL, SVA, etc, and with commercial support.

Any way to get it for hobby use? I'd be willing to spend a few bucks but not a huge amount.
