Sometimes I look at the wonderful but also pragmatic hacks people create with OpenSCAD and it's a mix of pride and "oh my god what have I done this is going to be my legacy now!".https://twitter.com/JediJeremy/status/1030347669921652736 …

The other day I was watching this
@standupmaths video and it features 3d printed packable Scutoids designed in OpenSCAD by@mathgrrl. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3024272 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2_NZ1ql8B8Y … 1/2 -
When I first heard about that "new shape" I thought I might do an OpenSCAD model, but then thought "nah, it has curved surfaces, that's super hard to do in OpenSCAD". But
@mathgrrl doesn't care. Because those OpenSCAD users, they are badasses and they just make it work. :D 2/2
