My recurring IPython dilemma: Jupyter notebooks are much easier to share with people who just want to look at the results, but I am much more productive in Spyder. I used to have a spyder to ipynb flow, but that was only for an older version of ipython notebook.

I love python. I wish sympy-Jupyter were as good as maxima-wxmaxima.
Maybe sympy got better in the last few years? Idk.. I didn't really check. In part probably because this didn't quite go as I would have hoped: https://github.com/sympy/sympy/pull/7437 ….

don't get me wrong. sympy is awsome. but maxima is more mature though IMHO.
