Silly question: is it GCC? I’m curious about how LLVM would output. Or GCC if that came from LLVM. Or vice-versa.

I think that was gcc 5.4.0. (Seems like the problem was that the function did something that a `constexpr` functions isn't allowed to do. I don't have that version of the code anymore.)
