Same approach with cigarettes. One of the easiest taxes to increase and of course will be supported by non-smokers especially. However, all this really does is hurt the user who is still going to have a butt, or a sugary drink, and now they’re just losing more money for it.

Like a true Trumper you mischaracterized what he said. He was talking about taxing sugary drinks. While I don’t agree with him, I think his intention was good. Maybe if we taxed Big Macs Trump would live longer, and lose a few hundred pounds? On second thought, let’s not...

That sounds logical with something like cigarettes which they already do tax. Dictating to people what they should consume and how they should live their lives!?.... I'd rather die!! ;-)

But seems logical with cigarettes? That's the same thing as over taxing the soda. It's not for government to decide how we treat our bodies...cigarettes or soda!
