    (9) So just what is all the outrage about? The shorts/HF’s lost, retail (and HF’s!) won, and we all learned about the risks of the no cost online brokerage model. But I am hard-pressed to see why making a lot of $ in a heavily-shorted set of stocks is a national crisis.

    Does having women in top positions help close the gender pay gap? This fascinating research from the US suggests the answer might be "no". They find no difference in the earnings penalty experienced by mothers whether the three top earners are all male or all female...

    Despite this, we find no evidence that the number of female top earners at a firm has an effect on the motherhood penalty experienced by employees at the firm

    Ppl who don't use Reddit only hear about it thru extreme examples (Gamestock, misidentifying Boston bombers, etc) but the actual experience of using it so much calmer than Twitter. The typical interaction here is "look at this moron," for Reddit it's "nice work, friend."
