This legislation is a part of coordinated state efforts to criminalize, suppress, and deter political dissent & resistance, like the #OccupyICE movement across the country.

It's almost like they recognize that there's a reason officers might not want their faces visible while they body slam protestors. Like there might be negative repurcussions for identifiably violating civil rights or something.
Who knows how long it's been going on, but it's interesting to note how little "law and order" types care to address that some cops hide identifying information and there's no complaint about that since it's assumed they are divine protectors.
