    I’m not really into putting two groups of people against each other. As a community leader in the NC Democratic Party, I am proud to know that we have and still are expanding our reach in suburban, rural, and urban communities to heal that divide Trump has wedged so deep!

    I urge the Charlotte City Council to take preventative action towards filling our 26k affordable housing units gap by amending our city’s Fair Housing Ordinance to include Source of Income Discrimination. This is a step that will completely revolutionize our housing market.

    I am relieved to know that the has issued a temporary halt on evictions nationwide. In addition, Roy Cooper has set aside $175M in rental and utility assistance and $53M to help families currently experiencing or in danger of experiencing homelessness.

    I am going to keep this simple. If you are complaining that a vote is not going to change anything you are robbed of your self power. Voting gets you a say so in all that a candidate does during their tenure. Exercise your right people died for and hold accountable!
