    Great stuff, ! If the NRL wasn't there, somebody would have to invent it. Big kudos to Mary and everybody else behind it. With obspy you can set up full metadata using NRL from scratch, check out how easy it is in our Tutorial:

    Two possible conclusions.. - twitter algorithm thinks our ObsPy apparel is rad enough to warrant showcasing on their catwalk - somebody hacked our account and uses it for browsing twitter

    ObsPy 1.3.0 is out! It's a new major/feature release and the first Python 3 only release. It's out on pypi (source and wheels) and on conda. Remember to join the low-volume announcements only mailing list and our discourse forum for user interactions. <3

With Seismica we want to create a publishing environment that is accessible, inclusive, and fair to all. This will be achieved through a diverse representation on the editorial board, explicit instructions to authors, reviewers, and editors, and of course through zero costs for authors and readers. In this way, we aim to lower the threshold for underrepresented academics to participate in the global scientific discussion.

    This is (most of) the Seismica Task Force, a group of enthusiastic open access publishing advocates from 6 countries, spanning 9 time zones! In our April meeting we discussed potential hosts, timelines, boosting global participation, logos and communicating our deliberations!
