Regardless of what the President says or tweets, in this country we believe in right and wrong, and we believe in the rule of law. Truth is truth, crimes are crimes, and no one is above the law.

You cannot make insecure software systems more secure by being encouraging and not saying mean things about them. It’s not that kind of insecurity.

Thales and Gemalto are merging, and Gemalto apparently already bought Safenet. At least one HSM product line will probably be deprecated after the merger. So basically there’s going to be one HSM manufacturer of any scale or significance worldwide.

  14. "Code shaming" is toxic, disgusting, and unacceptable. If you've been coding long enough to point out others' mistakes, you've been doing it long enough to know everyone makes them. Ridicule helps no one. Don't cut people down; help them! Be the teacher you wish you'd had!

Our parents have not failed us, our politicians have. To any parent reading this: save us, vote, work on political campaigns, knock on doors, run for office and be the change because our politicians won't be. Nov 6 is the day we can save our future but only if you choose to.

Reading existential philosophy doesn't make your realize that "life is meaningless", it makes you realize that life is too meaningful for you to let it pass you by, like a movie, with you as nothing but a passive observer.
