Many of them may have been themselves broken in many unimaginable ways too. They may not have had access to the information that cld have helped them be better at parenting. Just saying.

U are right. If such a parent is still alive, that wld be a great move. It won't undo D past, but it wld assuage feelings. Some of such parents may not apologize, N of cos it is in D right of D victim to uphold D grievance. However, that grievance will

No excuses. Take responsibility for your actions without giving excuses like 'they had a hard time too'.

Agreed, hard times needn't be transfered. Others ought not bear the brunt of incompetence. However, this isnt an excuse. It's a perspective to consider. Whether you consider it or not is up to you.
