You are probably right on that, BUT, what matters to the ETH price is how many of the new stakers are buying fresh ETH and how many of the exiting stakers are selling their ETH. The ETH price is NOT affected by staking per se, but by the buying and selling demand of ETH.

Lol I know that. The attack scenario I'm describing involves being able to fake 20 confirmations no problem and then rewind the chain, i.e. enough to rob anyone who trusts the BTC confirmation system by doing reversible transactions on them.
