Over the last four months, the City of Oakland experienced a spike in armed power tool robberies.
So far this year, OPD has investigated four of these violent cases.

OPD was notified by ALCO Coroner the cause of death of Kazuhiro David Sakurai was “Complications of Gunshot Wound.”
He was shot at the King Estates campus on 9/28/22.
He died on 11/17/22.
We are re-releasing this video in hopes someone can identify those wanted for his homicide.
