I can handle reggie. But Webber is horrible. He just talks way too much. The whole game I’m just like omg stfu lol

How you gonna bring up Reg and Hubie without mentioning the fact that Marv Albert is basically senile and literally fails at identifying players sometimes

Marv Albert at least brings some excitement to the table. Reggie is the unfunny comedic relief, and Hubie is... I don't even know?

Does that make up for the fact that he called Damian Lillard "Westbrook" who wasn't even on the court and is on the other team? Or called Lowry Oladipo? Or said it was the 4th quarter 20 seconds before halftime? Accuracy comes before excitement IMO

Are you really saying Hubie more accurate than Marv?

also difference between play by play guy vs analyst/color commentary. you can disagree with hubie but i rarely have heard him say something objectively wrong. marv on the other hand: https://streamable.com/hdj2b i got 20 more clips just from this season if you'd like to see it

I think I disagree. I'd rather have interesting commentary than accurate play-by-play. It'd be different if I was listening to radio, but when I'm watching, I'm not really following pbp closely anyway. Which is why it helps during key moments when pbp guy can convey excitement.

Sure I mean in general I probably agree as well but when you're egregiously bad at your job, it's time to go. Imagine if Mike Breen had said "Rebound Bosh... back out to LeBron James.. his 3 pointer... BANG!!" Exciting? Yes, but it was Ray Allen...
