One of the last things I did at Twitter was look into Bazel. In 2015 it was early but interesting. I was intrigued and started the scala support for Bazel. Stripe adopted Bazel in 2016. Almost 5 years later Twitter is joining the bazel community:https://groups.google.com/forum/m/#!msg/pants-devel/PHVIbVDLhx8/LpSKIP5cAwAJ …

ZOMG this is quite the news! Brings back crazy memories (move to Source). FWIW, Pinterest had adopted pants (circa 2017) and now we are moving to Bazel for JVM, C++, GO. Bazel Python has been the tricky one for us.
@posco Is there any public material on how Stripe adopted Bazel?3 replies 0 retweets 1 like -

There have been some talks by
@oacgnol and@andygscott I believe. I have a talk I’ve given but they weren’t recorded. Also talks by@NSilnitsky and@ittaiz on Bazel adoption are great. I think YouTube search can dig these up.1 reply 0 retweets 4 likes
we gave a talk for @scala_love: https://scala.love/keeping-developer-productivity-high-building-scala-with-bazel-at-stripe/ …
not sure if/where the recording is, though!
