Spent a chunk of the afternoon doing web development. Tailwind CSS (https://tailwindcss.com/ ) is a very strong argument for composition and for the failure of CSS to provide adequate composition.
i’ve heard good things about tailwind, is this an endorsement of it or disappointment?

So many (> 0) of you are secretly front-end devs it seems? I think: 1) Tailwind is awful. Writing nonsense like class="bg-teal-500 hover:bg-teal-700 text-white font-bold py-2 px-4 rounded focus:outline-none focus:shadow-outline" is weak sauce 2) Tailwind is less awful than CSS

The "apply" thing that the post-processor interprets allows better composition in the CSS, so one can avoid excess nonsense in the HTML, but it seems to be a bit discouraged by the devs. I'm also a Tailwind n00b, so I could be doing it wrong.
