Last year I updated my LinkedIn headline to "I only respond to requests that open with a knock knock joke". I'm pretty sure I still get just as many requests. At least now most of them are funny.
yeah i'm 100% on the position that complaining about recruiters is a privileged problem, so i never complain about it (unless they somehow call my personal number unsolicited)

For me, this doesn't feel like complaining. I have, however, had fun with this-- and *that* is something other people can't afford to do. I've also wondered: does having a quirky headline create additional interest in a profile?

ah i misread it, but yeah i think having fun/complaining about it are two sides of the same coin of privilege on professional networks
